exciting stuff that isn't so exciting

For my birthday week (27th January in case you want to remember it for next year) I went to Christchurch for a few days and judging by my photos all I did was apparently eat.

It was there that I had my first ever
Wendy's Hamburgers encounter!
There drinks are MASSIVE, but probably way tinier than a small will be in America.

Photobucket

Another first - CURLY FRIES
Thank you
Denny's for bringing this amazingness to me (I really should stop adding tomato sauce to everything I possibly can, even honey chicken isn't off limits to me is seems)

Photobucket

They had a billion and one photos of their desserts so I found it a legal requirement to get this banana split.

Photobucket

These here are the best invention, frozen yoghurt with your choice of fruit blended through, I always get berry yogurt with blueberries and banana. (It's quite silly that we don't have a
New Zealand Natural in Dunedin but they're in the most random as countries)

Photobucket

I finally got to return to
La Porchetta and get my fav!

Photobucket

Also from
La Porchetta, but sadly looks way way waaaaaaaaaay better than it tasted *sadness*

Photobucket

As proof that I did actually do some other stuff...

I spent far too much money on a Nars foundation and this
Mecca Cosmetica nail polish in Cressida, can't see it amazingly well but it's a charcoaly plum colour, love!

Photobucket

And last but not least I went to the
Ron Mueck exhibition.
His sculptures are creepingly realistic

This head and baby are HUGE

Yet these two are mini

Another two giants

I have fallen in love with these Balenciaga shoes!

I mean look at them!

If anyone can find them for me I will love you forever, they don't seem to exist outside of the magazine and Megan needs!

In no way what so ever am I fan of taxidermy but this zebra does look amazing

Argh so tired, peace out!

megan wants

I'm not even going to pretend not to be materialistic today and will openly admit that I like pretty and expensive things.
These are what I'm compulsively stalking at the moment.
Photobucket
I love this Zoe and Morgan ring, it's so cute and would go perfectly with their Rabbit Ring that I got on Saturday.

As I posted early, I have not yet mastered heels, but I love these Yves Saint Laurent.

Gorgeous.

Photobucket
These would be the cutest iphone clutches but I can't decide which one I prefer and couldn't really justify both dang it.

Photobucket
And just to be a complete douche I want a MacBook Pro to go with my iPhone and iPad.
I like matching things and my current laptop doesn't seem to love me that much any more.
*sad face*

Photobucket

The newest Photoshop would go oh so well with this new laptop, I have CS2 at the moment and lurve it so could just imagine how much I'd appreciate this.
Don't worry Mumma I'll be good and not actually buy any of this stuff.......yet!

frivolous resolutions

I do have some bigger things I want to achieve this year but I'm not quite ready for them to be shared on here so here are a few little random ones:
- Start wearing heels more than once a year
I own a tonne of shoes that I've only ever worn once or never at all, this is due to my lack of confidence and coordination in sky high heels (and the fact that I feel like a gump when I'm over 6 ft tall in them).
Photobucket
- Step out of my comfort zone more often
I've become better at this since I've started working full time and always had a great time when I do.
Photobucket
- Take more photos
I want to capture every moment, especially on my trip to America I want to be able to torture my family and friends with 100000's of photos.
Photobucket
- Make more time
I need to stop letting work rule all of my time, I have plenty of spare time in which I can do many of my little projects in my head.
Photobucket
- Blog more
As you can notice I suck at this!

miss me?

I think it's fair to say I'm not really cut out for the whole blogging thing, I'm far too forgetful and lazy!
But in my absence I have been planning big things, my wanted trip to Disneyland and Disney World has now been booked and has become slightly bigger than originally planned.
It will start with a ridiculously long flight to Los Angeles where me and Anna will go straight to Disney's Paradise Pier for 6 nights and 5 full days of Disneyland happiness! *happy dance*
Then to add on to our Californian stay we'll be in Hollywood for 7 nights to do all the cheesy tourist things and shop up a storm (and probably get uber lost).Orlando is our next stop with Disney World being a key feature! *more happy dancing*
We'll be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside for the whole time and making day trips out to Universal Studios and Sea World. So stoaked to see the Harry Potter rides and beluga whales! At this stage Anna will be leaving me to come back home for university =( and I'll be going to stay with my Mummy's friend Denita in Jacksonville, North Carolina, she has tonnes of stuff planned for me to do there cause I really don't know of anything to do there except for going to Wilmington because I'm One Tree Hill obsessed and want to see all the places from it!Then because I'm a nerd Denita is me driving to Atlanta so I can go to Georgia Aquarium to see whale sharks and more beluga whales, yayness!!! I'll be flying back to Orlando after this and staying with Denita's parents to see all the things I didn't have time to see with Anna and kinda just chillax a bit before going onto San Francisco.
I'll be all on my lonesome there but I'll try and be a big kid and spend a week on my own.

Now I just need June to hurry up, so exciting, me and Anna will be the crazy New Zealanders running around and screaming about everything. Can't wait!

If anyone has any suggestions of things to do or see, I'd love to hear them!

rain rain go away

Dear Rain

You suck!

Love me.

Recently Dunedin seems to be the centre for rain, and by rain I mean RAIN. Like seriously enough with the flooding!

Areas that are normally paddocks have become lakes, streets now have ponds and it's just dark all the time. So weather pretty pretty please go somewhere else, I really do not like you and want to kick you in the face!

I miss days like these where I could just go out and take photos and not drown and/or freeze!
My work is in this photo, I'll give you a dollar if you can find it!

Go!
My Grandad is a wee bit adorable (shh don't tell him that though)
SUN!!!
Oh how I miss you!
If you see it please tell it to pay me a visit.

Rain you are no longer my friend so how about you go away, sun you are more than welcome to make Dunedin your home!
